Join us in Buenos Aires in spring 2026!

I’m thrilled to announce my next Buenos Aires tango immersion trip, organized with my longtime friend and colleague Jean-Sébastien Viard. Spend 10 days with us delving into Argentine culture, food, and, of course, dance. We’ll be staying at La Mariposita, the lovely boutique hotel in the historic San Telmo neigbourhood, run by amazing tango dancer and teacher Carolina Bonaventura.

The Curtain Lady

A novel

As if it weren’t enough that Poppy has to deal with teenage problems like shyness, keeping up with her studies, and the temptations of boys and illicit substances, she also can’t seem to shake the cruel and terrifying monsters intent on haunting her in both her waking and dream lives.

Set in 1980s Montreal, The Curtain Lady, Andrea’s first novel, is a heartfelt coming-of-age story with a haunting twist.

25 Tango Lessons

Non-fiction

Andrea discovered Argentine tango in her 20s. Over the next decades it gradually changed – and in many ways became – her life. Just about everything in tango is a microcosm of life at large, and just about everything we learn on the dance floor is a life lesson as well. This book is a collection of some of the most interesting and valuable things this passionate and complex dance has taught Andrea over the years she has been practising and teaching it.

The official launch party took place at the MonTango Argentine tango school in Montreal on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021.
